The Sunny Day House has both the quintessential charm of a small-town, combined with the latest amenities for a relaxing stay. This 110-year-old home is walking distance from both downtown Brenham and Blinn College. Its 7-foot-tall windows light up every room in the comfort of central heat and air. The spacious kitchen is center to the house and a natural meeting space for family and friends. It truly is a sunny place to gather.
It's always more fun with the whole family. That’s why the Sunny Day House welcomes children and pets of all sizes. There is an 8-foot wooden privacy fence enclosing the back yard. Complete with games and a fire pit. The front of the house has seating and a porch swing. A small wooden fence encloses the front for supervised fun on the soft St. Augustine grass. The beautiful landscaping encourages a light stroll around the yard.
Brenham is a Railroad town; you can see and hear the active trains all over the city. The Sunny Day House has the benefit of a great view of the trains transporting everything from merchandise to the huge wind turbines. It is a form of transportation centuries old and still very much in demand. Relax at the large farm table and watch progress go by. Not to mention the Polar Express during the holidays!
The kitchen is fully equipped. For an extended stay you can arrive with a few groceries and be right at home. There is even a selection of dog bowls for your furry family's comfort. Brenham is also home to exceptional restaurants just moments away.
